“We really enjoyed our stay at Ciala Resort. The grounds are lovely. The rooms are comfortable. The food is good and the staff are EXCELLENT (kind, thoughtful and attentive). We were in Kisumu for a wedding and didn’t spend much time at the property, but in the moments we had we enjoyed the pool and the gym. Breakfast was good with both local and international choices. “The property is unfortunately in a rough neighborhood and may not be safe at times to leave the hotel and walk around. The staff are friendly and helpful. The WIFI is good. Restaurant food is good. The maid service was not good. They didnt listen to instructions well,would gorget soap, or towels, or remove our water and not replace it.”
